Now and then I stare into space
and my thoughts travel with pace.
When I lose the fight to death
will I get through Heaven's gate
or will my soul be thrown into the fire
to cry and burn forever?
I believe in Heaven and Hell,
also what the scientist smells
and what the missionary tells.
But come save my soul the stress,
overthinking and constant distress,
man has lost his beauty and finesse.
Tell me about another phenomenon
yet unknown to the world:
That there is life after death
under the same Earth;
Rebirth without consciousness
of our former selves.
Tell me and I shall be merry
and not worry about my destiny.
