Solitude
#WritcoPoemPrompt84
Sometimes it is best to be in solitude,
To separate from the crowd,
So no one will intrude,
As you mumble tales alone aloud,

As your imagination travels far beyond,
Your fingers curling around your pen,
You move it like your magic wand,
Pouring your thoughts out to keep you sane,

Your eyes look mystic and lost,
As you go on playing with your thoughts,
Paper; the parasite and your brain; the host,
Sucking out all your creative ideas and thoughts,

Only the clicking of your pen could be heard,
With a few mumbles slipping in between,
You're the messenger of the lord,
Your letters are like feelings that could never be seen,

Mortals start to read breaking the seal,
Some quick to judge while some eager to appreciate,
But those feelings; no body tries to feel,
Those letters now, so bland; it starts to depreciate,

Sometimes it is best to be in solitude,
To separate from the crowd,
So there is no one to judge so crude,
As you mumble tales alone aloud.
