WHAT KILLS A HOPELESS ROMANTIC
I've known only About True Love,
Not so much Of True Love.
I've learned it from a distance;
What makes and breaks,
When to grab a chance,
And what it truely takes.

I've known so much About Pain,
From so much Of Pain.
What breaks, foreseen up close;
Used, Taken for Granted,
Despair of Not being the one she chose,
Fooled, Denied; "Only a Friend".

For every pain I have a story all About it,
How I've Endured so much Of it.
I'm Yet to experience True Love
Yet One more... One threat I fear, waited,
The One that transcends the above;
The "Ultimate Betrayal" only Couples can dread.

So Surprise me!
It is not that difficult to please me;
Don't be another pain for another lesson,
Or the one to fulfill that Ultimate Dread.
Be my Library worth every exploration,
Stay True, and for you, my blood I'll shed.
