Tracking through 2 feet of hardened snow
Sun so brilliant it shows no mercy
Cliffs that fall 100s of feet below
Every step is weighted and exhausting
Glaring peaks and freezing canyons
It is hard to now where you are , at times its distorting
Weeking from very low rations
Struggle and strive are hand in hand
I'm almost to the top
If there's a town that would be grand
Hoping for a easy drop
A few feet more
