Some years ago, whilst working within a cut throat environment in the city of London, I started to lose touch with who I felt was the real me and the person that I wanted to become.

Matters came to a head, when shortly before Christmas I was asked to nominate four members of my team to be made redundant.
Redundancy is a traumatic enough experience without this happening just days before the extended Christmas holidays.

This situation and many others, were the turning point for me to take a new direction in my life.
In the new year I talk took a life changing decision and started to look at courses where I could retrain as a complementary therapist ( Aromatherapist & Reflexologist) where I hoped I could have a positive rather than a negative effect on other people's lives.
On the first day of training I found the following poem in my welcome pack!


"When we step beyond ordinary life
and begin to follow the inner callings of our heart
there is an inner portal that's opens
when you step into that inner portal
you will discover great winds
as the winds whirl around and through you
old judgments and decisions about who you are
begin to release their hold on you
then you can step into who you really are"
