Say hi to my silly heart
still throbbing after so much hurt

Stays warm and cosy
no matter how it gets all noisy

Keeps a smile embossed on it
never leaves hope how much it gets hot

Stumbles down my soul
picks itself up with a smile takes a stroll

Wipes the trail of tears down the cheeks
pretends to be happy as soon as someone peeks

Bruised and battered it stands tall
no matter how hard is the fall

Stitches itself up every night
with strings of hope surviving the everyday fight

All wrinkled inside it learns to rejuvenate
it's the least it does to relate

Throws a tantrum to itself
Pampers itself consoling self

Voices echoing inside kept at check
to put up a smile on others it cons to fake

As night grows old
it screams in pain as blood rushes through its folds

Hoping to be adored it sinks in me
cuddling to my soul it soothes me

With the start of the sunrise it wakes me up
bringing me back to senses it holds me up

Like a clown it makes me giggle
when night comes closer it plays a riddle

By the day it stays strong
when clock strikes midnight its all puny and wrong

Now's the time I take the lead
