Have you ever wondered why the
Mountains stand so tall
Have you ever felt a breeze or watched the Leaves change in the fall
There’s only one good reason for all of
These crazy things
It’s all because of a God who loves and
Created everything
He paints every sunset
He sketches every land
Breathing into existence
Every woman and man
I cannot help but stand in awe
Of this God who did it all
He gave his son to die for me
Not only me but all
Asking nothing in return
Only love and belief to earn
Eternal life in paradise
No pain, no hurt, no sacrifice
If you believe you’ll have to lose
Material things like drugs and booze
I have to say, you’re wrong to think
Because this God is mighty you see
You will not want these earthly things
These possessions, and activities
You will feel the need no more
No addiction, not anymore
So take a breath, a second to think
Think of the things that God will bring
He’s brought you life
He’s brought you joy
He’s given you everything, the pain and the glory
So try and give back with just a few words
Like thank, I need you, and come to me lord
Believe that God sent his son Jesus to die
Then to rise out of the tomb
And give us all life
A chance to repent and accept that he is
Our savior, redeemer, our lord, and our friend
