The Thunderstorms are crackling
sending bolts across the sky,
the speed of light is indefinable
since we can't catch it with our eye.

The lightening flies like superman
and the entire world is lit,
the clouds all move in timing
before it makes its hit.

Breathtakingly, it does this on replay
each time it comes to Rain,
it colours up the empty sky
that used to be so plain.

The thunderstorms are coming
they're come back again,
they're bringing life and excitement
the next time that skies rain.
