I was sitting here thinking about us,
thinking about you.
I'm very lucky,
and I thank god,
you're still with me.
I know all the grief,
I've put you through.
I'd like to know,
how many times I've said,
I'm sorry.
I've said it alot,
I know.
It was usually for the same exact mistake,
I'd made before in the past.
I've made alot of mistakes,
for years,
took your love for granted.
I'm going to say it again,
Tina I'm sorry.
I love you!
That,
theirs no doubt.
I know forsure.
We been together for a while now.
I think,
going on eight years.
That's along time!
The longest relationship I've had,
and hope it's my last!
We used to be very close.
Our first couple of years,
we were inseparable.
We was always doing something,
and always togather.
I remember everday,
I'd wait and watch,
listening for your car.
To tun onto our driveway.
When I heard it,
I was glad you're were home.
you were finaly home.
Instead of picking up the phone and calling,
I'd just usually walk straight down.
I always was excited,
and couldn't wait to talk to you.
Everday I'd ask about your day.
Then we'd always figure out,
what we was going to do for that evening.
In just a short time,
we had became good friends.
About everyday we would walk,
at the graveyard.
Sometimes we would take all our dogs.
We enjoyed it,
and it gave us something to do.
I'll never forget,
our first Halloween.
I'd have you practice,
painting my face.
I had let my beard grow out.
I was so excited,
to be going as Captain Spaulding.
Everyday back then,
we had so much fun!
Things have changed,
and are different now.
Like you said,
I feel If we're just roommates.
We both go our separate ways,
and do our own thing.
Their times I wish we,
could start our relationship all over.
Things would probably be better now,
and we both would be happy.
If only I could go back,
and change mistakes I've made.
