It's a date!
She said “it’s a date
Don’t be late”
She walks out at 8
I’m nowhere in sight
6 minutes go by
She starts to get anxious
I’m hiding right by
I come out the bushes
Roses in hand
She said “you scared me
It felt like forever”
I said “I’ve waited for centuries
To see us together”
She smelled the roses
And took me by the hand
We ran till the sun
Fell behind the mountains
We relied on the dark
We had no curtains
She started to kiss me
Under the stars and the moon
She held me so tight
Like her life would end soon
It ended so quickly
Between a breath and blink
It felt like one touch
Those few hours in sync
I had found the substance
That got my heart beating
Why should I live?
Why should I fight?
I’ve waited for centuries
Now you’re out of my life
I guess that one night
It was worth the wait
But,
Why should I search, for someone new?
When my heart is now full
After having met you…
