conniving to create a balance

Yín, the ever cautious
Yang, ever throwing caution to the wind
Yín, the ever meticulous one
Yang, the one who says "fuck it, we only live once"
One bringing order, the other chaos
Together forming the Perfect recipe for a rollercoaster
And in inclusivity bringing passivity and activity together

Yín and yang
In juxtaposition fitting into each other like 6 and 9
One's excesses making up for the other's absences
In their meeting and parting leave a kernel of each with the other

Somewhere in between Yín and yang
delusion and reality find balance
Delusion, the belief in a fairy tale love
Reality, the genie granting my Aladdin wishes
And in symphony, weaving my dreams into existence.
