Heart of mine can you please stop.
I do not want you to stop helping me breathe because I need to live for the handful that loves me, but
I wish you would STOP feeling.

Is that possible? Could my heart stop feeling but pump enough for me to keep living?

I do not want to not think before I react or think how to pass my college exams, but
I want you to STOP thinking of others before yourself.

Is it possible for me stop being kind, when I do not even think of self?

I no longer want minds of others to be inquiring about what you look and or feel like, but
I do not want you to stop making me feel like you are what keeps me appealing to the eye.

Is it possible to want what God gave me to give to others, but to no longer want anyone to look at me for those reasons?
