I am a free gift of nature
my life should be like a rainbow
and not like a caged bird
given false reasons n hopes to live on
I've got dreams
but why must my dreams be deferred
what's wrong with
I want?

white reflects truth
green shows peace
but for the leaders
it is an avenue to acquire
more wealth
for themselves

I've got soul and
I've got blood running
through my veins
I aren't an object
to be destroyed at will
because i aspire
but an human being
that has to be protected!

officers are meant to protect
and not to injure
you weren't trained to kill us
especially in our abode
of green white green

all I want is a world
where I am treated as
an human being and my
rights are guaranteed
but this will only happen when
we break our silence
and fight for what's ours.
