VARIATION
Away from your scarlet cave
The scatty horizon of doom
Looking upon your scattered strands
The image of doom I perceive.
Oh! My love,
The once-embeded gold
The treasure of philosophy
There and then your charming imploring eyes to your Suitors heeded.
But suddenly, your beauty is scarified
Bleached by imported ointments.
Plunged into the abysmal oblivion
The debt-infested zone.
Your beauty gone, then the
Systematic Approach to Poverty.
The die is cast
Your joints are frail
Yet white-washed by obsequious flatterers.
I see you toddling on the path to beauty,
Exposing your chequered undies.
Enveloped in giddy concoction, you fell
And falling, you fell flat
And died.
