The door to tomorrow,
Opens in the shadows of today,
So brush aside the path of sorrow,
And make your way.
Make that promise to yourself to finish your journey,
No stops, no haults, No giving up.
No regretting the past that's the old me.
The more I push forward, the further I go,
The stars get brighter, the more I glow.
This thirst inside me never seems to slow.
I want this life, I want my tomorrows,
I leave my past behind with all my sorrows.
No time for grieving that will keep me down.
With my head held high I can't give up
I'll never lose this battle, I'm too passionate.
Even when I'm hurting inside I cover it.
I lift my head, I smile so wide,
Now you see what I'm feeling on the inside.
My heart grows bigger and my soul is on fire.
I'll keep this life I have fought for, I'll never look down or in the rearview.
