Life's Gift of Sunsets
The winters frost that chilled my bones
The night's sky has packed and hurriedly flown
At last, I can uproot each and every regret
for Life has given me sunsets

It melted away and flowed into spring
The ache I had, gone, as the bluebirds sing
This gift of renewal is one I'll never forget
for life has given me sunsets

Lazing around on beds of fresh green
I close my eyes and embrace my dreams
The tinted crimson glow where the earth met
Feeling alive again since life gave me sunsets
