Natraj Dance
#ArtisticEmotions
In the center of the cosmic dance,
Stands the deity of the trance,
With four arms that seem to prance,
Natraj, the lord of the cosmic romance.
He holds a drum in his right hand,
A symbol of the universal sound,
With his left hand pointed down,
He blesses the earth that surrounds.
His other two arms are held out,
In a gesture of fearlessness and doubt,
One of them holds a flame aloft,
The other a lotus, pure and soft.
His hair flows wild and untamed,
As he spins in the cosmic game,
With the rhythm of his feet, unchained,
The universe is forever framed.
The beauty of this sculpture divine,
Is in the message that it enshrines,
For Natraj, the lord of the cosmic shrine,
Is a symbol of life that's truly divine.
The cosmic dance is a metaphor,
For the cycles of life and so much more,
For creation and destruction, we implore,
And the endless cycle that we explore.
The emotion that this sculpture invokes,
Is a sense of wonder that evokes,
A sense of awe that quietly cloaks,
The mysteries of life that it smokes.
For in the end, we are but dancers,
In the cosmic dance of life's prancers,
Spinning and twirling, without answers,
With only the rhythm of our own trancers.
So let us dance with joy and abandon,
Like Natraj, the lord of the cosmic canyon,
With our feet tapping to the eternal gammon,
And our hearts filled with cosmic salmon.
