"A Dog's Howl"

A dog's howl is a precious thing.
It started when he was just a puppy,
He would waggle his tail and copy,
Other dogs who are howling.
His squeaky little voice echoed together,
With the howl of his miserable father.
He would try to deep his voice,
To make it sound like the other boys.
But he was just little--
To realize that soon he would be bigger.
Soon her father grow old,
His father left him with all the lesson's gold.
He howled melancholy,
For his respect on his father's dignity.

When he was big enough to know some things,
His interest are now shifted into having a fling.
He would try to court other women dog,
Trying his best to impress a gem.
He would give her some part of his dough,
And when she accepted him,
He would howl loudly,
Indicating other dogs that he was happy.
Soon he'd become a father,
So he taught his sons how to howl further.

In his adult days,
He was as happy as he can be,
For he already had a family,
And his owner love him so dearly.
They would walk together in the woods nearby,
To find some adventures or just a grass to lie.
They would run freely together,
Not realizing the life's thunder.

Soon he too grow old,
But his owner is still young and bold.
Seems like their fate isn't same to be,
For their age isn't like each other's reality.
He let out a deep howl,
Then afterwards he would growl,
For the sickness of being old has come to him,
He would wish that his sight wouldn't dim,
That he wouldn't close his eyes to meet his end,
But still he needed rest,
And so the last howl of the dog has been heard,
Inside the house that he once lived.
