I was in the moment
daydreaming
of nothing in particular
just caught..
my mind
a merry-go-round of thoughts
while watching opaque clouds drifting by
slow
as a settled heartbeat
no need
for excitement or to rush
every thought 💭🤔
measured
considered finally dissipating
after
a helter-skelter kind of ride
that's all it takes
to bring you back to reality
and wake you
out of
those daydreams with a start
those moments
where anything and everything's possible
yet they come and go so quickly
you've dreamt them before you realise...
