In the caverns of my soul, where shadows dwell,
Lies a heart that once knew love's sweet spell.
Now it beats in sorrow, a mournful rhyme,
Echoes of your touch, lost in endless time.

Memories haunt me, like ghosts in the night,
Of a love that burned fierce, now swallowed by plight.
Tears like rivers flow, carving paths of pain,
In the wreckage of our love, only echoes remain.

Yet in the silence, a whisper of hope,
A fragile thread in this despairing slope.
For from heartache's crucible, strength can arise,
To heal these wounds, where love once lies.
