Pangs of Love
I thought, you had blurred
From those bitter, piercing memories of the past,
To your cooing spring in thoughts of her.
For that, I thought I could heal
All my remaining chinks
In the broken heart, at last.

But on closely brooding,
An unexpected dream
Smothered me in silence,
And I couldn't scream.
Some broken images in my sight
Were standing clear and bright.

In thoughts of you, only shadow dance
Doors were closed, there was never a chance
One or two sides cannot measure
You sought some pleasure
Did you try those pangs to heal
By giving me some passionate zeal?
Now I have made a moonbeam light
To hide you at every sleepless night
But you remain still in the story
In some broken memory
I hope you smashed them up
Forgotten that vivid face to swap
With another face bright like rays of sun
And we are done.
