you cannot deny
is it fake, is it true?
or another fat lie.
We watch the news
with utmost care
we read the papers
believe if you dare.
Pandemic we're told
has now disappeared
but war now rages
as we all feared.
The world's gone mad
are we to believe
that life isn't the same
for many have grieved.
Breaking news
what have we become
a sorrowful race
as yet undone.
Here's an idea
don't watch the news
live your life
with your own view's.
Turn off the telly
switch off the WiFi
No social media
your not going to die.
Believe what I say
it's rotten to the core
you won't miss the news
that is for sure.
