I want to let go
But the pain is holding me back
I want me free from the grudge
But the thought of your hurt restrains my breath
It's hard for me to forget
But i want my heart to know peace
The anger visits my memory each day
Trimming the period of my existence
I want to be ready to let it all go
Yet the spirit is absent in me
occupying half of my space
I want to forgive you
I want to be free from pain and anger
And willing to sweep it into the ocean
