Homeless
Homeless, without a place to call home
On the cold and lonely streets, I roam
No roof over my head, no bed to rest my weary bones
My heart heavy with grief, my soul stripped to its bare bones
I am but a forgotten soul
A victim of society's harsh toll
Lost in a sea of poverty and despair
My life reduced to nothing but a constant nightmare
I wander the streets, invisible to all
My cries for help, unheard as I fall
Through the cracks of a heartless world
Where the rich keep getting richer, and the poor left to unfurl
The bitter cold pierces through my tattered clothes
As I shiver in the darkness, no warmth to hold...
