Tragic Garden
Sewn seeds, oh gental reeds
Sing on wind of loving spring
In kiss of sun flowering
Roots hold saplings to earth
The oak is towering
Every moment spent devouring
All of its surrounding
To cast in shadow all that lay below

In the till and toil
Rooting up the soil
The garden is gashed anew
With splintered fingers
Forcing wound to earth
Life is given you
A seedling in shade
With promis to fade
Should grdener be a shrew
Toung at blade she works away
Complaining the whole day through
Wilt stings at young leaf
For eye candy is all you'll ever amount to

Tragic garden
Filled with weeds and thorn
Abandoned at planting
Tugs heart torn
So sad, as eyes avert to mourn
The promis of pretty
Fallen to shitty
Possession to adorn
Garden of lady
Who's time is spent to scorn
The bitter life of one who could dare
To want better
Now cast in blue and worn

Misery begets miserable
To all touched by principle
Holding yourself accountable
When none but you can claim fallible
To be rejected, unpalatable
You dunce, so naive to be doubtable
To think root un-routable

Solem stands the plant
If only attention would grant
A sign of care would do, if you dare
Just hurry with hoes to enchant

What loss do you loose
If you were to choose
To part with time for those on the line
Does cynic detect or project ruse
What do you gain to refuse

Sweet water that cascades down
Caful with charity unless you seek drown
Thanks would be given
If she could but make sound
It is this small kindness
That turns the whole of our world round
