the harsh reality
Parts of me fade, like whispers in the night,
Astray, I wander, without hope in sight
I've watched others cry, behind screens and masks,
Thinking they were weak, or just in need of tasks.
But wisdom comes, with age and tears,
And I see the world, through different eyes and fears.
Everyone carries, a weight they can't define,
A burden that's crushing, a heart that's lost its shine.
Each day's a struggle, each breath a test,
A battle to stay, to find some rest.
For every fight we lose, a piece of us...
