WILL YOU
Will you, Oh child
Be daunted if you read our poems?
Lines written with doldrums and acerbity.
About our ravenous folks
Who with savage hearts traded us.
Truth and patriotism
Hoaxed by lust of men and avarice.
They have slain animals of their own flesh
To hold themselves so high and higher.
We assemble in ashes and watch.
The poems we wrote to them had emptiness and drama.
We sink in blood, Oh child.
