You ask me what's wrong, but my mind has froze,
Have you forgotten all the the hurtful words you chose.
Am I supposed to move on just like that,
Forget how you hurt me and treat me like a doormat.
Paint on a fake smile so you feel better,
Hold all the hurt inside, or write it in a letter.
But if I wrote to you would you read it?
Truly take in all my words, would you feel it?
Feel the pain the anger and the sorrow,
Feel the dark clouds looming on our tomorrow.
Would you try to understand,
reach out and lend a hand.
To help me up with no judgement,
Hold no grudges, do no torment.
It's hard to determine if this is true,
Because isn't this something you should already do?
