A well springs from old dreams
Tearing away reality
Soaked in truth
I wade in a river of memories
Against the direction that its flowing
I fall unbearably downward
Earth between me and fate
The hard places avoided
Soften the soil of my place
Where I can rest among the stones
Having written a last message
Commandments that attest to hope
Breath is expelled and consumed
Creating a fire that's never exhausted
Except through acceptance
Smoke billowing up to stars out of reach
