Just as the rain started to fall,
Forces of good and evil instantly clashed,
In circles and in twirls that darkens all,
Thunder rumbled and lightning flashed,
I sat under a shade waiting for the rain to stop
My worries seemed to rush at that moment
As the thunders roared and lightning flashed, I wondered if I'd ever find peace worrying
As the rain persisted on this stormy night
I couldn't help but wondering....
What if this was exactly what I needed?
What if life never gave us an umbrella?
What if facing the rain of life wasn't as bad as we'll thought?
I grabbed my bag and ran or I'd be left behind worrying over nothing
As I ran with others, I wondered if I was any different
Surprisingly it was just what I needed
I knew that we were all worrying over something......
A trend that never seems to fade
Some envious about others that had an umbrella
Some about the fact that they forgot their umbrella
Some about the cold they were going to have
Why worry?
About the past we can't change
About the future that we don't have
Why be envious?
We're never equal, each moving at their own pace
As my worries seemed to drench under the ever pouring rain
Would it ever be better after this...
Who knows.....God knows
Let's just live in the moment
