Lost
Its six in the morning but the streets are empty
The silence struct me abysmally
It looks artificial
It struck me like a diamond bullet.
I had a mournful sight
I walk down the street with no limelight
It was as though we lost everyone overnight
In a war no one knew about.
The sweet smell of the mourning breeze engross me
I felt my heart flutter
It engulfed my conscience like a dream
Reality stares at me.
I felt butterflies in my stomach,
I was left awestruck
I have sold my last ticket
I had a dreadful sight.
The adrenaline ran through my cheeks
I was sweating profusely
I felt so weak
I felt the urge to quit.
