it was the time when one day
I met you at home and say
I have a burning wish
will you teach me English?
you taught me all points of grammar
using those in life I started my career
I had only failure till then
I was looking for what I can
it was you who told me to teach
it was you who improved my Speech
you helped to develop my personality
by guiding, while working on my ability
you worked hard to build my confidence
being a man of patience and perseverance
at last I learnt to stand on my feet
it was You, Sir who made me fit
today I can read, write listen and speak
just because you repaired my every leak,
how I thank you for being my guard
again and again please accept my regard
