Victory Of Mankind
In a world so unfair
Clutched me the hands of deep despair
As if the nature is so enraged
That its wrath flows out uncaged,
What with floods and fires
And now even a tiny virus
We behold the world being tested…
And there is this other side
Where man sows his unknown death
With weeds and needles and brandishing bottles
Of course he knows, smoking kills!
Like vultures behind a piece of flesh
They easily snatch the pretty blush,
The smile of a girl now a luxury
Are “wrong signals” in the eyes of the jury…
Amidst the turmoil something constant
Like the caressing hand of a mother
Are a group of hands joined together.
With a will so strong and unshaken,
They fight the battle untaken…
Technology and social media are indeed steps
But there cannot be a leap from a cliff so steep.
There is more needed for this fight
So put in all your might
With humanity as the weapon and peace as the shield
And thus may we behold the victory of mankind!
