Why I Write
I write because it pains to talk.
I write because I'm easily misunderstood.
I write because sometimes it is easier to pour out my heart on the pages of a book.
I write because the words flow through my pen easier that through my lips.
I write because the paper won't laugh, jeer, snicker or insult when I mess up or get my words wrong.
I write because my thoughts consume me and I would rather tell them to a notebook than to another person.
I write because people betray secrets, pen and paper won't.
