You sat with me under
the shade of the trees,
Reading out the words
that made no sense
to me who never once
experienced what you
went through.
Your feelings and your
emotions would be
all brand new to me.
I'm still wet behind the
ears and lack maturity.
I see the pressure you're
under; the fact that you
are stressed and in a
troubling circumstance
is not oblivious to me.
I see what I see but it's
clear to me that you
never once lost faith
in what you believe;
in Jesus Christ as Lord
and Saviour and in his
awesome capabilities.
What else can I do but
let you be and comfort
you when you need it
and be there for you
like are for me.
