The rain drops stayed still on my window,

The lights went off and the whole city was 

covered in dark,

The thoughts in my mind 

were louder than any thunderstorm;

I wondered how many times I fought for my freedom but failed,

how many times people around me tried to pull me down,

The words that made me feel worthless still lives in my mind;
