You were once in my dreams rent free
Your perfect smile keeping me numb from all the noise
We'd be in your room looking at the ceiling thinking that's how close our future was
You'd fall asleep with your arms around me
When I woke up you were no longer there
You'd been gone for what felt like an eternity
Searching and longing for your magic I brought you back like a necromancer
something was off but I brushed it off
I was just fascinated by being able to share long conversations again
