he listened to my truth but kept silent
and held his in his head
we never laughed we only talked but only
when I spoke
he said
"I've fallen so deep it felt I would over dose "
but then left me on read
while day and night evading in time

Now I see I gave too much because I received that little
They didn't value my worth because I let it dribble
so now I take it back its mine to have!
And say in the mirror

I am beautiful , intelligent,witty and a lady
