A Strange Tattoo in My Heart
The milestone I remember with sad eyes,
All the memories and the world of poetry,
Is fading amid the desire for hope
In the upcoming future.

I will miss you, the rising Moon above the trees,
When your blue light pleased me,
With a touch of softness,
When you cradled my head,
All the roughness was gone,
Made me feel like a golden swing.

That milestone, such a little thing,
By the open road, when the sky is dusky,
And sometimes milky blue,
That would be the sitting place,
For a person who loved poetry,
And exploited it to purify the soul.

Those days were a melody of joy,
Slowly passing away,
Fusing memories into the haze.
I can hardly hope for your light
To come and flow in my bloodstream.
As I am an idol of sad eyes with tears,
I can hardly hope for you
To settle in my heart.

I bear this strange tattoo all along,
A strange tattoo in my heart,
With lingering darkness that never fades away,
Even when the sun's beaming down.
