I would do anything to see her smile
When she smiles it's like the sun is shining and the clouds are drifting away
When she's happy, I'm happy too
Nothing is better than seeing a smile on her face

All these years she took care of everyone
I'm glad I grew up with her
Even though I see her once a year
She means everything to me
She's my grandma, my 2nd mum, my everything

Every year I pray so I can see her when I come on holiday
And every year until now I've seen her, for which I'm grateful
When she smiles it seems like she has forgotten all her troubles

All that she has in her head is beyond belief
Though she doesn't hear very well, she knows what's going on
She sees everything and she knows everything
When she's gone for a day, it's like the whole house is empty and something is missing

She is someone who has never hurt anyone
She always thinks of everyone
And I am happy that my mother has become like her
And I as my mother
Inside I'm very much like my grandma, I'm glad about that

I hope she gets better soon although I know she won't fully recover
I want to see her for many years to come when I come on holiday
She will always be in my heart and I will never forget her
There will always be something left of her
