Oh valiance
TALL TALES

Oh, valiant one,
you who has crossed the seven seas
out of your greed,
in pursuit of what they call heavens eve,
still bleeding on the steel,
screwed deep into his spleen,
and another into his rib,
one missing for his maiden to be,
and so,
all her needs he shall fulfill.
Beat the drums,
Sound the trumpets,
let the song be sung,
A dance shared between two,
let tales be told and legends strung,
of a brave who had slain,
all darkness in his way,
out of grit, sheer luck maybe smarts.
Prepare, the way has been laid,
and the dues been paid,
he looked,
and marvelled in unbelievable awe,
the path he had torn,
out of his greed,
but what stood before him bore,
a plain painted in golden tones,
and so didn't he misread,
that day under a shade built with reeds.
Oh! let that day not be told,
of the valiant one,
who crossed the seven seas,
out for what he thought he seeked.
