JACY AND RUDDY: To Sing to the Moonlight.

“No! no! no! Don't be silly Ruddy,"
said Buddy looking very worried.
"Jacy is not a friend!
So please don't be swayed by her voice.
You have to be more careful.”
“I know, I know,"
Ruddy said jumping up and down.
"A cat and a rat cannot be friends!
A long-aged feud from both ends.
That's what Mama always says.”
She paused with a lone tear in her eye.
"But Buddy, she has the most amazing voice!
She will sing, and the heavens will rejoice!”
Buddy didn't seem too convinced
and glowered at her nativity.
"But I have to be careful, just like you said," Ruddy admitted, "especially when
Jacy is with her friends."
So she came up with a new plan,
and expounded to Buddy.
"I guess I will move more at twilight,
When we could both sing to the moonlight.
So calm your worried heart brother,
I have already thought about this.
And, I won't get caught,"
she said, smiling to herself.
