How rugged was the cross?
Not as rugged as the carrier of the cross.

Beaten, battered , bruised and bashed on a day we now termed good Friday.

What's good about the Friday?
Why , would a day filled with much sorrow of his death be called good?

Good indeed, because the saviour is good
Good because he had to die, a good death
Good because his death gave us life in abundance
Good because he conquered the grave.
Good because this was the major passage in which he used to get us back.

Gentle saviour but hanged on a rugged cross.
The host of heaven at his beckon but choose to drink of the cup.
My saviour today marks, a remembrance of a king crucified as a lamb.
The king of the jews who is a king forever

His kingdom has no end.
