As the fire glistens,
Watches as we stir and spin,
Chop and peel, or put it in a seal
Watch as we cook and heal, eat and taste flavors that bring me to heaven's gates,
Greet with joy never with sorrow, I leave today ready for tomorrow,
My Chef gives me love that could never be borrowed, Question she would rather answer tomorrow,
Yelling I could never swallow, She works harder than she breathes, her work is always unseen,
But her heart never goes weak
This woman inspires me
And I'm glad she's here with me.
