You speak with your eyes,
Paint pictures of disdain.
The pain of your judgements
Doesn't stem from their cruelty,
But from their own intrinsic stain.
The sting of your opinions burns,
Not because I shun them,
but because I know.I know your criticisms,
The judgements hidden in your whispered words.
They mirror my flaws, my fears, so clear,
Revealing a constellation of shortcomings
Year by year.
