When my mind is unsettled and disturbed
When with all the chaos inside and outside
My thoughts, my soul are all perturbed
I just want to run and hide so my broken wings I flap
When amidst the pandemonium I start losing myself
Like a child I take refuge in the mother nature's lap
It embraces me with silent but reassuring whispers
The burble of river, the rustle of leaves
The whistling of the wind, the chirping of feathered creatures
Plays a soulful melody in my heart
The nature's symphony sounds like a lullaby
It grows on me making me it's own, it's part
Oh so divine, it creates a harmony in my mind
Comforts me, consoles me, nurtures me
Oh where else such peace and tranquility I can find
It calms me, soothes me, healing my pain
Puts my chaotic mind and soul to rest
Rejuvenated I find the lost me back once again.
