The River
#WritcoPoemPrompt6
The river that flows down the hill,
Is never able to be a moment still,
The rocks and pebbles at it's edge,
Lie as steady as the dead,
It saw time bound stories of past
Stories for a million years to last
The nightingale who sang from heart
Da Vinci's blend of beautiful art
Kings, queens and warriors who fight
The beauty of night a life long sight
Killings just for women and pride
All wealth gone just by a heavy tide
The immortal river should not stop by the luring sight
As the mighty ocean is waiting it's lover day and night
