"A tree house"

In a tree house,
my alternate habitat,
as a girl,
in my town,
girls climbed up a tree house,
my Daddy built for me
and we told secrets in the sky,
up way too high.
We wrote them down,
and only girls owned this town.
We then got out a tablet
with pen,
and wrote a poem
that gave us joy,
and it related to a boy,
but we were too young to know
he was a man.
He always sat on a porch swing
all by himself,
and...
