a friend of mine called and cried
she said that her pet died
says she'll commit suicide
and I'm going to hers at night
so mom's fried.
I put on my tights
and whites
and get the keys, *sighs
dad smiles in his bed like delight
coughs when his daughter is gone,

friend's place is quiet
did she say let's seek corners and hide
or is it just a ritual of elite
to taste chestnut pie a bite
and all the time let's just fight
or separate ourselves with stairs and height.
