The devil is laughing now
in silence I join him
he points his fingers at me
says I'll never be worth it,

I turn to look his way
and by his surprise
not emptiness nor fear
could be found in my eyes.

Regret is painful
like death its sure
its the only mistake
not even God can cure,

So what else can I do
but also laugh
I'll grab my truth
and push up with my staff,

Seemingly I'll go about my day
in complete anguish I suffer
but I'll continue steady in portray.

Whatever I wish
whatever comes my way
however it needs to be done
whatever is left of me
is what I will pay.

I'd rather see you glowing fire red
never giving to what you dread
close your ears to fill your head
but only after what I've said,

Who better off then me to say
you better stop debating
before all is taken away.

Remember me the same
as if life without the pain
that one dream surviving
going down the drain.

So if on fire when you go back
if you end up from where you came
just keep a light on
when all goes black
or you'll never be the same.
